Bad Casey...

I've been very distracted lately... So here are all the pics I've been saying I would post weeks ago. By the way, I'm a fully initiated member of Alpha Delta Pi now. And I'm halfway through the semester; projects, midterms, all that good stuff is done. I even picked out a topic and started an outline for my final paper in one of my classes (the only class that has a paper for a final). I'm keeping up pretty well and I've got all A's and Bs for my midterms so I'm pretty happy with that. I've been spending a lot of time with my sisters and I might as well have lived there this weekend... I've spent more time at the Greek dorm since Thursday than here.

So... in these first pics we were slack lining. This is when you take a line about an inch thick and hook it up between two trees and try to walk across it. Yes, I did need some help.

This is Kelly. She lives across the hall. =]

I absolutely love the shadow in this picture.

This is Cassie. She's right next door. I love all my neighbors. =]

And this is just the whole line from one side to the other.

So for initiation we usually make paddles for our big sisters because they makes us stuff like pillows and picture frames, etc. No they don't paddle us, they hang them on the wall. The paddles are just a tradition. I was very proud because I'm not a particularly crafty person.
Okay... so it doesn't want to upload those pics right now... I'll post them with the other ones (see below).

Also, I threw a pot today! =] It was fun. Unfortunately it was Courtney's clay and she needed it for her project so I smashed it, but I did take pictures of it. I thought it looked pretty cool, but maybe someday my mommy can teach me how to throw a pot and make it actually look like a pot. Anyway, the pictures are still on Courtney's camera so I'll have to get those from her tomorrow or sometime next week.

It sounds like you are really enjoying college. That is terrific! I can't wait to see the pictures you described. Did you take a picture of the paddle you made?
